RPM / RALLYWORLD will be looking at a new front anti roll bar system over the next few months for tarmac events as the car is set up for mainly gravel events
robin starts to find the limits of the car

robin gets to grips in his RPM/RALLY WORLD FOCUS

Friday 5 December 2008

robin what have you done

robin finds the speed but also a landing light which was hiding in the grass this resulted in a badly bent front strut the saving grace is that all the new suspension set up done by baz cannon survived with no problem so a quick fix for now and there are talks of more developments for the new year

this cracking venue had all the facility's needed for a good days motorsport thick fog and slippy surface in the morning followed by blazing sun shine and a very fast track in the afternoon . the competition was fierce between all the drivers with only a hand full of second separating the first to last the old head of roy gravestock held off challenges from alex cannon and cameron buchanan to win by a very small margin of 1.5 seconds a great day was had by all

test 1

Delado motor club off to a flying start after a long lay off Sunday saw a very good entry for the first Delado test held at Bradwell air field lots of the old faces and some new some good driving and some not so good but everyone really enjoyed the day out . the most entertaining drive of the day has to go to Craig Schofield the Sebastian Loab look alike the competition at the front was fierce Colin smith in the escort Darren knights in the Mk2 and Alex cannon in his newly built CBC Mk2 rs 2000 gave the spectators some real rally action robin Wilkinson driving after a three year lay off showed he still new where the throttle pedal was

plenty of action from the class A junior Ben Farr and Cameron Buchanan showing lot potential in the juniors

BNI members also had a day out driving a Skoda supplied by RPM, i think they will be back

Darren Knights driving smoothly and correctly all day to secure second place in class and third overall

Alex Cannon driving his newly built CBC RS2000 to a very respectable 4th overall and 3rd in class

Craig Schofield was the most colorful driver out there and unfortunately had to retire due to a broken exhaust rubbers

Colin Smith showing everyone how its done by winning the event and class and also had the FTD of the day

BNI members enjoying there day out in the Skoda, and out of the BNI members Mel the Blind was the fastest BNI driver of the day

Robin getting back into the swing of driving his RWD focus by finishing 2nd overall and 1st in class

Colin Smith on his way to another stage victory and also event victory

Pedro enjoying driving his escort sideways all day even though he had no idea where he was supposed to be going
